FOCUS GROUPS
The Circle of Hope will have its first Focus Group at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21st, at the Food Pantry, 813 North Beverly Drive.

Beginning in August, we will have a regular focus group meeting at 1:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month.

World AIDS Day
On December 1, 2009, we will have our World AIDS Day service at the Sacred Heart Church (Wichita Falls, TX), 7:00 pm.

A Pannel of speakers representing people living with HIV, MSU students & faculty, clergy, Clircle of Hope volunteers & Public Health workers will share their knowledge and experiences for a question and answer panel to be held at MSU, 1st December 2009, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 pm.

National HIV Testing Day - June 27
National HIV Testing Day (NHTD) is an annual campaign produced by the National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA-US) to encourage at-risk individuals to receive voluntary HIV counseling and testing.

Across the country, thousands of HIV counseling and testing sites, state and local health departments, and community-based HIV/AIDS service providers will participate in NHTD events, by holding health fairs, providing community and media outreach, hosting special testing-related events or operating extended hours. Some of these events may be scheduled in the days and weeks surrounding NHTD.

Food Pantry
The Circle of Hope Food Pantry is now open on the first Tuesday and the third Tuesday of each month from 2-5 pm. Pantry dates are:
February 3rd & 17th
March 3rd & 17th
April 7th & 21st
May 5th & 19th
June 2nd & 16th
July 7th & 21st
August 4th & 18th
September 1st & 15th
October 6th & 20th
November 3rd & 17th
December 8th & 22nd (2nd & 4th Tuesdays for this month only)

Volunteers
Circle of Hope of North Central Texas maintains a volunteer list of extremely dependable people from our community. These individuals are the backbone of our Food Pantry. They have logged hours of work over this past year. The Circle of Hope board and our clients applaud you. We are very proud and truly blessed to have such faithful and generous "helpers".

Donations
The Food Pantry had groups and caring individuals who donated pounds of goods for our clients.
